Trumpet Mute Holder

This holder provides instant access to your mutes while playing. Unlike other models available online, it clamps directly onto your sheet stand without requiring additional third-party clamps, except for some nuts and bolts (details listed below). I designed two custom-sized rings that fit my cup and straight mute perfectly, but you can easily add more to the assembly as needed. If your mutes don't fit, you can design a custom one using Fusion 360 or other CAD software if you have the necessary skills - maybe I should have made it parametric after all. If you use arts-and-crafts foam or similar materials, the holder clamps quite securely to the sheet stand. Once you've attached it, you can easily rotate the rings into a convenient position and secure them with the provided wingnut. The rings feature chamfers on both sides, allowing for smooth mute seating and removal without catching the edge. With some creative crafting, you can even silence the rings for stealthy mute docking - more details are coming soon. Let me know if you've built this holder or have any questions/suggestions!
