A customizable trumpet mouthpiece featuring a changeable inner threaded rim allows users to use one standard rim with various cup shapes, depths, throat diameters, contours, and backbores for diverse music genres like "Classic," "Swing," "Jazz," and "Big Band." The metrical thread is M20 x 0.75. This design ensures accurate centering of the rim while improving the joining of the rim and mouthpiece. With over 40 years of use, this innovative mouthpiece is shared for all trumpeters on GrabCAD, showcasing a single possibility for custom manufacturing. The model is available in STEP format, as well as in PTC Creo Elements 5.0's native format. Additionally, an Excel file for calculating metrical threads is provided for easy calculations of various thread types.
