My kid needed a cup muffle for his jazz band, so I thought this would be an entertaining speedy project to tackle, and here's how it turned out. It prints in two parts with no support material, which may necessitate a bit of sanding where the pieces connect to ensure they fit together seamlessly. Printing at .35 gave me the speed I wanted while tightening up the tolerances. If you print it at .2, it will likely have a smoother finish (maybe too smooth). After printing, we cut some cork from old wine bottles and glued it on. When you take out the cup, it doubles as a standard mute for jazz. Now his music is suitably muted.
