I'm shocked that one of my most popular posts on this platform suddenly stopped gaining likes and getting added to collections out of nowhere. Further investigation revealed that Thingiverse completely removed it from their site without any notice or explanation, leaving me with a nagging feeling that something was off. This incident serves as a chilling warning about the future where technology companies will have complete control over our data, communication, and news, suppressing information they deem unworthy. The true essence of fascism lies in censorship, not just being exposed to unwanted information. Unfortunately, this term has been misused by younger generations who think it refers to being confronted with uncomfortable facts or perspectives. In reality, it's about governments or powerful entities controlling the narrative, silencing dissenting voices, and manipulating public opinion. I'll be keeping a close eye on my post, wondering how long it will remain visible before getting silently banned or shadowbanned again.
