Truma roof cap camper
thingiverse
This is a trauma roof cap that I printed from ABS plastic, but I believe PETG would also work well. The original part fits a bit loosely, but can be tightened easily. It has been in place for about a month without any issues. I have included the thread library file as requested. This version of the design has not yet been printed by me, so I'm excited to see how it turns out. I increased the thread size from 59.5mm to 59.7mm for this version. On April 18, 2017, I made a change to the thread size, increasing it to 60mm from 59.7mm. To test this new size, I printed just the thread and was happy to find that it fit perfectly into the original hole. I have also included the STL file for anyone who wants to print their own trauma roof cap. On September 13, 2018, I printed and tested the entire part with great success. The thread worked well once again. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Rework 1.5 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 30% Notes: I have successfully printed this trauma roof cap from ABS plastic, and I believe PETG would also be a good option. It's worth noting that the part was printed with support material, which was later removed.
