True low rider filament holder.
thingiverse
I designed a custom filament holder for my printer after realizing that the standard box I bought was nearly identical in height to my spool, prompting me to create something new. The idea came from the Prusa MINI holder, and I built it in approximately 15 minutes. The design allows it to print perfectly on my Ender3, but if you decide to make one, be aware that it might not work for everyone due to variations in printer settings or parts tolerances. To assemble this filament holder, you'll need the following components: - Four 688Z bearings - Eight brackets - Four sleeves - One base Optional materials include two 2x2 bricks to hold the sides in place. This design is still a proof of concept, but it's functional as it stands. I might refine it further since I plan on creating two more similar holders in the future.
