True-Color Venus Texture

If you're seeking a genuinely authentic, true-color Venus texture, then look no further! Almost all commercially available Venus textures rely on X-Ray images that capture the rocky surface of the terrestrial planet. They appear impressive, but Venus is shrouded in a dense layer of clouds, making it nearly impossible to view the surface from space. As I failed to discover a suitable texture for realistic views of Venus from space, I decided to create my own! This hand-crafted texture has been modeled on true-color images captured by the Mariner 10 probe back in 1974. If you're aiming to produce visually accurate space animations and images, then this is an essential image to include in your texture library! Diffuse, bump, and normal maps are included, all in JPG, PNG, and PSD formats. The PSD consists of one flattened layer. Only the textures are provided; the NASA image and the 3D rendering used in the preview image are not included.
