True Color Mercury Texture

If you're seeking a genuine, true-color Mercury texture for your 3D renderings, then stop what you're doing and take a closer look! Most commercially available Mercury textures are either low-resolution, exhibit visible seams in their composition, or fail to accurately reflect the planet's true color. As I was unable to find a suitable texture for realistic views of Mercury from space, I decided to create my own. This hand-crafted texture has been modeled on true-color images of Mercury in visible light. However, since high-resolution, true-color images don't exist of the entire surface, some Moon textures have been used to fill in the gaps. While this may not be 100% accurate, it's still one of the most accurate Mercury textures available at such a high resolution. If you're aiming to create visually accurate space animations and images, then this is an essential image for your texture library! Diffuse and normal maps are included, all in JPG, PSD, and PNG formats. The PSD consists of one flattened layer. 4000×2000 pixels. Only the textures are included; the 3D rendering used in the preview image is not part of the package. Thanks for taking a look!
