This drawer started out as a design for a printer I was designing, basically like a CR-10S/Prusa hybrid ***(before I knew they existed, no lie)***. So fast forward a few months and I find myself in possession of 2 Ender 3's and again needing/wanting a way to store and protect my hardware securely and off the printer. I searched high and low for something for my Ender to have at first....\r\n\r\nBut nothing ever included storing the PSU and a slew of other things, with easy access (overhead space and clearance), quick connect plugs on the outside to easily run new wiring and better wire management (I got into this hobby to mod PCs, but it kind of took over). \r\n\r\nSo I took my original design, version “X”, shrunk it down, redesigned basically every feature, and here we are today. So this will be, IMO, the only "TRUE AIO Ender 3/Pro Electronics Bay (with slide drawer capabilities)". I'm not going to be modest with the title and what it claims either, as I have not seen or heard of anyone designing something like this with respects to PSU storage space if anyone has something to prove me wrong, I am all eyes… ***“SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!!!!”***\r\n\r\nWith this design I have made 2 versions of the case. One for a drawer style printer and one that is a full case. Version 1 and 2 both use the same print settings and oriented the same. So you now have a choice as to what you can/want to print. \r\n\r\n#STOP!!!! \r\nBEFORE PRINTING PLEASE READ THE SECTION FOR PRINT SETTINGS AS THERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO SPECIFIC PARTS OF THE DESIGN THAT MUST BE FOLLOWED. IF NOT I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WASTED TIME, MONEY AND EFFORT. THIS HAS BEEN PRINTED BY 2 PEOPLE AT THIS TIME, AND ON 2 DIFFERENT STYLE PRINTING, Ender 3 and a delta.\r\n \r\n#CONFIGURATION CAPABILITIES\r\nThis thing is big enough to house your PSU, the MCU, an RPI (I have the 3 b+), external Mosfet(s), multiple LM2596's, The LCD, A meter for monitoring power consumption, external SD card, Relay switches, and whatever else I have had on hand to test fitting the components. I also designed versions to not have and LCD or power meter, RPI etc. etc. SO if you have a simple set up (meaning stock or close to stock) there is something for every type of setup I could think of. \r\n\r\n***(DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT PERSONALLY OWN MOST OF THE COMPONENTS THAT I HAVE MODEL STANDOFFS FOR WITHIN THE DESIGNS. SOME WERE TEST FITTED BY MYSELF AND SOME BY ONE OTHER PERSON (DAMIEN2007 WHO HAS PRINTED THE ENTIRE VERSION 2, AND THE INSPIRATION BEHIND VERSION 2)***\r\n\r\nI has options for quick connect feature to make wiring and routing that much easier, making it so you do not have to remove anything from your MCU or other components, unless you require it. \r\n\r\nI have designed many different models for the base sections to include, a base for the stock board, the MKS Gen L v1.0, the SKR v1.3, MKS Base, Duet (all models commonly used). Though there are many available setups, I of course have not designed them all and I am willing to take requests and modify sections to fit those needed changes. I only require a link to the part, with dimension for mounting.\r\n\r\n***(I HAVE NOT DESIGNED ANY LCD PORTIONS TO ALLOW THE SLEW OF TFT SCREENS TO BE MOUNTED, AS I DO NOT OWN ANY AND KNOW ONLY A FEW FOLKS PERSONALLY THAT DO OWN ONE)***\r\n\r\nIf you do not want to mount them on post/standoffs but rather mount them directly to the bases with your own means, well guess what, there is something for you as well a clean slate to position and place wherever you want.\r\n\r\nIf you like the design give me a like, if you like and build it, post a make (painted, not painted whatever works for you). But if you love it and want to support my endeavors buy me a coffee.
