If a 3D printed board can withstand a person's weight, why not print the trucks and wheels too? So that's exactly what we did. We took the beautiful Pennyboard design by Andrew Askedall as our starting point and created these custom trucks based on pictures found online. Not a single person in our colorFabb team has any experience with skateboarding or designing skateboard parts, but we're proud of how they turned out - good enough to share with you. The board was printed using a Delta Tower with colorFabb_XT filament, and it was positioned at a slight angle instead of straight up to increase the layer cross section. We used an 0.8mm nozzle during printing. We also printed the trucks in colorFabb_HT on the Mass Portal, using 80% infill and three perimeters, with a 0.6mm nozzle. The nGen-FLEX parts were printed on the same machine, using a buildTak sheet for support. Post-Printing You'll need these materials to assemble everything: 8x 608 bearings for the wheels 2x M8 threaded rod for the axle 8x M5 bolt for mounting the trucks (the holes may not align perfectly with the board, so we had to drill them out) 8x M5 nut for mounting the trucks 4x M8 lock nut for mounting the wheels 2x M5 bolts to secure the two pieces of a single truck together
