Greetings! Allow me to present my vision of a truck underrun protection system. This design weighs approximately 65 kg. Utilizing the Solid Edge ST6 simulation tool, I evaluated the following load conditions and their corresponding results: P1 - 338 MPa stress and 12.2 mm displacement; P2 - 348 MPa stress and 3.5 mm displacement; P3 - 277 MPa stress and 2.77 mm displacement. Additionally, I replicated the simulation with Simscale for load condition P1, resulting in 333 MPa stress and 9 mm displacement. Sander Saarniit.
