Truck Hack
thingiverse
I created this piece initially for an experiment, but ultimately realized I didn't need it. This design substitutes a screw plate for the traditional wheel assembly on a truck, taking it from a hollowed-out part to one that's been printed in solid form. Amazingly, my weight alone tested its structural integrity, even though I stopped short of pushing it to extreme limits. As for personal pride, this piece stands out as an intriguing concept - all the more impressive considering how far a few measurements and careful estimations took me when initially bypassing the lengthy scanning process followed by meticulous editing of an entire truck. Thankfully, common tools like my tape measure proved reliable alternatives in achieving an appealing outcome that you might discover uses for yourself.
