This object was made in Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/33DH7bhdpaz The retainer clips that hold the plastic door panel onto the door of my truck have broken, and now the door panel sags, making it hard to use the door handle and roll the windows up properly, and sometimes even close the door. The clip looks like the letter T with small barbs across the length of it. This problem affects me. Fixing this is important to the overall function of the door panel to hold the door handle and create a protective layer of softer material between passengers and the hard metal that the door itself is made of. The solution to my problem is to 3D print a mock retainer clip that functions exactly like an OEM one. Retainer clips are usually no bigger than an inch in length and ½ an inch in width, but sizes can vary. Bottom head diameter ¾’’ Top head diameter ½’’ Stem diameter 5/16’’ Stem length ⅝’’ Only limitation I can think of would be rigidity of the barbs, because if they are too hard, then they will just break, but if they are too soft , the won’t hold into the door Depends on the quality of the materials used. This kind of solution is best best fitted for not having enough parts but said parts can only be ordered online, so to finish as job quickly, one would print the part Color is not a factor
