Truck Center Console Headrest Replacement/Storage
thingiverse
I designed this useful storage holder for pickup trucks that have folding middle seats that turn into consoles. Many have headrests with posts spaced 112mm apart. These headrests usually get in the way of the radio/AC controls when the seat is folded down into console configuration. On top of that, you are only left with two cup holders and no other open storage like trucks with permanent center consoles have. This should fix it! I designed this Thing to have posts spaced 112mm apart and tested it on Ford F-series trucks. I'm sure it'll fit most trucks, but 112mm is the headrest post spacing if you want to check beforehand. The cup is 200mm long by 60mm wide and 100mm deep. It has 3 separate sections whos partitions add strength. You can fit most smartphones or men's wallets into the large section, the medium section is great for all the little stuff you lose in the car and even has two notches that you can hook your standard Android or Apple chargers to. The little section is just wide enough to fit a few ink pens or lip balm if you want. Print two (2) of the posts and slide them into the tracks on the storage holder. Then simply press the posts into the headrest holes when your middle seat is laid flat in the console configuration. This is a work in progress and I'd love to see anyone's remixes and makes. ENJOY!
