"Trough the wall" Duct for Vacuum exhaust..
thingiverse
I possess a semi-industrial vacuum machine equipped with a filter bag on top. The issue at hand is that the extremely fine dust particles fail to remain contained within the bag, instead ending up in my workshop. To rectify this situation, I designed an External Mountable Duct. On one side, it was installed by passing it through a wall, while the other side was connected to the bag using a custom-printed adapter (see accompanying files). Consequently, most of the minute particles are now being blown outside. The diameter of the hole drilled for this setup is 63mm. To ensure a secure connection between the units, I recommend applying sealant, glue, or tape to the exterior unit, followed by sealant on the interior unit and PVC glue to seal both components together (taking into account wall thicknesses ranging from 8 to 14 cm). Next, place the adapter ring on the bag, outline its shape with a marker, and create four holes for M6 bolts. Screw the two adapter rings together before cutting out the corresponding hole in the bag. To complete the setup, connect the units using 60mm pipe or flex.
