Cylinder-shaped absorbers boast solar concentrators, expertly designed for tubes with a 6mm radius diameter, although a 1/2 inch tubing was actually used in the project. These concentrators comprise two distinct troughs: one featuring a compact design optimized to accept solar energy within a 45 degree angle range and its corresponding length; and another longer one, which showcases a wider 25 degree acceptance angle configuration, stretching around 12 inches long or 300mm.
