Trophy Wall Mount for Bullet Bill / Banzai Bill

This is a trophy holder for the beautiful BULLET BILL / BANZAI BILL designed by Martin Moore @FORGE 3D, which can be found at https://www.myminifactory.com/object/bullet-bill-26743 I thought it would be a fun way to display the Bill as a trophy like a fish or a game animal and designed this tacky looking back plate. This wall mount features holes in the back so it can be hung on two pins, hooks or nails. I tried to keep the design in a way that it is non interfering to much with the design of the bullet. The whole thing is fairly robust, I would however not hang my coat on it. Bill itself has to be downloaded from the link above and printed separately. Print Settings Printer: CR-10 Resolution: 0.2 mm layer hight Infill: 20% Notes: This print is designed, that it needs no supports or rafts. The bracket is preferably printed in the same color as Bill's body. If the bracket is printed with three solid bottom and top layers the ring will be solid, which is desirable for rigidity. The back plate can be printed in the color of anyones liking. I chose white since it makes the Bill stand out. The parts need to be oriented so, that they will lie flat on the print bed. Post-Printing 1. De-burr the edges of the rectangular tab of the bracket as well as the hole. Cut some of the tab's and rectangular hole's edges away, so it will be easier to insert it into the back plate. Don't however insert it yet. 2. Place the round part of the bracket over the thread of Bill's body Make sure that things are in the right orientation: * The flat part of the design must be placed towards Bill's body. * The rectangular part needs to point backwards while Bill is pointing from left to right. 3. Screw the endcap onto Bill's body The endcap should be tightened so much, that the ring and some part of the rectangular tab are squeezed in between. 4. Push rectangular tab into back plate Don't use to much force while pushing the tab into the backplate to prevent the tab from braking of the bracket. How I Designed This Design your own backplate You are encouraged to design your own backplate. The rectangular hole should be 6.4 mm x 15.2 mm and 7 mm deep. Below are the outer dimensions of my design which might serve as a guideline. Category: Props
