Trophy Design for the 3D Printing Industry Awards 2017

I'm uploading this object for the first time and entering a competition, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes. This is my design for the "official trophy 3D Design competition." As a Student with limited experience in 3D printing, I don't have the resources to print this design out myself. However, its simplicity suggests it will work well when printed. If someone could try it, I'd love to see the results. After exploring similar designs, I arrived at this version. While it may not be groundbreaking, my knowledge of the industry is limited. Nevertheless, I believe I've created a solid and genuine product that would proudly display in anyone's trophy cabinet. Using FlashPrint slicer, I estimated a 12-hour print time (720 minutes) with 72 meters of material. However, I suspect a more advanced slicer could significantly reduce material costs and print times by adjusting infill densities strategically. Unfortunately, I don't have access to such software currently. In conclusion, the design works beautifully as a trophy, and its one-piece construction requires minimal assembly. Although I regret not being able to print it myself and upload my own picture, I'm confident the design is highly printable, especially on high-end machines. Thank you to those who organized this competition; I had a great time creating the object and learned a lot from the experience. Recommended Settings: Layer Height: 0.2 mm or 0.1 mm Infill: 10% -20% Top and Bottom Layers: 3-4 Raft/Brim: Not Necessary Support: Yes, due to the "2017" lettering's significant overhang. Supports are not required for the main trophy body, however.
