Historians have been searching for the location of Pompée's Trophy for several centuries. It is essential to recall the research done by Mme BLANGY in 1981. The programmed excavations, entrusted to G.Castellvi (for France) and J.M. Nolla / I.Roda (for Spain) in 1984, confirm the existence of this trophy at that location. The Halicarnasse Mausoleum (350 B.C.) and the Trophy of the Turbie (on the Monaco side, 6/7 B.C.) were built with the same dimensions, even module. By applying the same scale, we arrive at a height of 53.34 meters for the "high" hypothesis and a height of 35.56 meters for the "low" hypothesis. Six hypotheses have been presented to date.
