TronXY XY-2 Pro Spool Roller

I recently acquired a TronXY XY-2 printer, and while it's an excellent device, the filament spool "holder" leaves much to be desired. The spool itself simply sits on a flat metal piece, resulting in excessive friction when the extruder tries to pull the filament, often requiring manual assistance. The spool holder's placement was satisfactory, but I sought to enhance it by incorporating rollers. This base + roller system neatly overlays the manufacturer-supplied spool holder metal piece. Surprisingly, this upgrade effectively resolved the issue, significantly reducing friction. The spool now spins with remarkable ease! To ensure durability and facilitate future maintenance, I designed the rollers as separate components from the base. Installation is straightforward: slide the pin end into place first, followed by a secure "click" to lock the flange end. The arms on the base cleverly prevent the spool from shifting or falling off. You will need to print two rollers and one base to complete this modification.
