TronXY X5SA CoreXY Motor Mount/Pully Re-Alignment
thingiverse
The TronXY X5SA series printers come with basic acrylic motor mounts and poorly aligned CoreXY cables leading to the Y carriages. In CoreXY it is important that the cables leading to the Y carriages are parallel to the Y axis, otherwise as the distance between the Y carriage and pully/motor changes the angle at which the cable is pulling changes leading to drift in geometry as well differences in tension. In addition the cables should be on the same horizontal plane otherwise the cables will wear against the pully guides. This mod is a more substantial motor mount which should be more stable and allows adjusting tension at the motor. It also relocates the motor ~4.5 mm toward the outside of the cube. The XY Pulley Spacer relocates the front pullies ~4.5 mm toward the inside of the cube. That aligns the motor, the pullies on the Y carriage, and the front pullies eliminating the potential geometry and tension issues. Apart from the prints you will need some M5 Bolts and T-nuts. At least four are required but the mounts support more. I also included a small support arm for the cable chain which tends to droop a bit over time.
