I did built up my Tronxy to a direct drive extrusion. Works Properly, print quality and oozing isssues are gone. Even i successfully running this solution for 100s of hours, You're doing this conversion on your own risk! Advances compared to other direct drive conversions: you only need the creality bases extruder-block, which very cheap available on e.g. Aliexpress ( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33034090489.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.40cc3fd2oJxvbc&algo_pvid=4a3f4698-7c83-4f6d-b5ac-056de23c8f0b&algo_expid=4a3f4698-7c83-4f6d-b5ac-056de23c8f0b-3&btsid=0bb0623b16000321755694802e1690&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_) and an extruder motor cable extension - All other parts are in continuous use of the tronxy X5SA. - The extruder is mounted diagonal to the Hot-end, which leads to better weight balancing and therewith, much lower forces on the wheels. What you need to know: - In this solution i did not implement a cable-chain attaching-spot and also missing is a mount for filament run-out sensor. I don't care about them - You will need an extension cable for the extruders stepper motor. Be aware, that tronxy used some unstandardised cable with 2 twisted wires. If you use only a cable extension combined with the tronxy original, everithing works well. If you buy a longer single cable, you have to bring in the cable twist by soldering.
