Tronxy X5S - Z-Wobble-Fix
thingiverse
Humans prevent z-axis misalignment by simply pressing a 608 bearing into place. All holes are designed to be easily fitted with a toleranz of 0.2mm. To alter this setting, users can change the #tol variable in Onshape: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c5128d094f358e7a7732fd77/w/e5aa2f4ebaf73b24205d9560/e/ba18f6937fa2570aafc0e51a To update Tab z-Axis, the part is z_stabi_top. **Update 02.04:** The original bearings that screw onto the rod have been reinstated. However, the tool for providing rod support remains a useful addition. This setup now works much more smoothly, eliminating Z-Wobble altogether. Unless you're using a stepper motor with a fixed rod, it's recommended to stick with the original bearing design.
