X5s. I have chosen to deviate from the OEM design of hanging the Z rod and bed weight from the top self aligning bearing in the pillow block housing as I wanted to remove the bearing grub screwes and allow the Z rod to float (as I've seen in other designs), so this is my idea as an alternative to take bed weight off the Z motor shafts and coupler. The collar on Z rod sits on the thrust bearing located in the top of the bracket. The base of the bracket sits over a lip on the motor housing so can not slide about.
