These prototypes feature an extended gantry backbone that relocates the screws further apart, significantly increasing joint stiffness without compromising travel distance. Although still in draft mode, these designs are unlikely to undergo significant revisions as they near completion. A critical modification involves repositioning the gantry x stop, which now has a custom 10x10x10 mm attachment hot-glued onto its surface at the required spot. Additionally, some minor modeling adjustments were made in a hasty manner, resulting in a slightly messy appearance; however, this will not impact printing quality. When comparing these designs to standard models, it's essential to note that belt heights have been altered, necessitating changes to motor and corner pulley locations. Several bolts may require longer replacements, and additional spacers for the corner brackets are also needed due to their tendency to bend. As a result, these brackets should be redesigned entirely. To assemble these prototypes, it's crucial to balance two axles and wheels while keeping the rest loose, as there is limited space for maneuvering.
