I don't like those Y axis rollers because they have too much play in them, so I made this custom piece to go with it. It will attach to the outside of the 20x20 aluminum frame using M3x7mm screws with T-nuts. You can also use these same screws to secure the piece to the block. This setup works perfectly with a stock X5S or one that has been upgraded with any of my previous upgrades. I've added an STL file for the X Y Gantry for 12mm pulleys, which you'll need to pair with this custom piece. Make sure to use the Spacer M5 Locking Nut STL file as well. To get the best results, you'll also need to install Top Z Axis mounts that allow for clearance of the threaded rod bearing. Use a mount with the flat side facing outwards. I recommend upgrading your Z axis anyway, even if you don't plan on using this custom piece. This will help you create a custom gantry bracket that perfectly matches your printer's specifications. Some blocks may have a 45.4mm bearing block instead of the standard 49mm, so I've added an STL file specifically designed for these blocks: X Y Gantry for 12mmpulleys46mmblock.stl.
