This is an adaptation of KozaMaker's direct drive solution tailored specifically for my linear rod installation, based on AngelKing86's work. It employs the E3D V6 Volcano hotend and a modified section of AK_Eric's extruder mount to create a direct drive setup compatible with the Bondtech BMG extruder. Don't forget to adjust your step per mm by 415 or update Marlin and reinitialize the ROM. To accommodate the linear rod, which requires additional space on the Z axis, I utilized Marco67's Anti Z wobble "up_guide" in place of the stock up part Z rods holder. Need assistance with upgrading: - Discover a more permanent solution to secure the upper section of the Z axis rods. The major challenge here is that there is only 1 mm left between the rail and the Z axis, making it difficult to incorporate a bearing. Update 19/02/22: I have incorporated Marco67's up_guide.stl file version as well as KozaMaker's files used version. These files are uploaded in case they get updated one day to an incompatible version.
