TRONXY X5S Linear rail upgrade
thingiverse
Convert Your TRONXY X5S to Linear Rails. This Conversion Saves Weight by Eliminating the Extrusion on the X-Axis, Ideal for Bowden Setups, and Dumps the Cable Chain to Save Even More Weight. Motor Mounts Are Modified Remixes from Thingiverse (Thing #2613150), with Space Made for Long Rails; if Shorter Rails are Used, Original Unmodified Versions Can Be Employed. Corner Pieces Come from Thingiverse (Thing #3247870). The Conversion Uses MGN12H 500mm Linear Rails on the Y-Axis and 475mm on the X-Axis, With the Option to Use Shorter Rails for the Y-Axis; 500mm is the Standard Length Due to Availability. To Ensure Proper Functionality, Low-Profile Screws Must be Used for the Cart's Bottom Mounts or They May Interfere with the Hotend; Omitting Them is an Alternative if Desired. Support Structures are Required for the Cart but Not for the Rail Slides.
