Tronxy EXO Slide Modification. Created due to OEM carriage issues, which were deemed sloppy and even misdiagnosed as a Z wobble problem. The EXO Slides have their own website, showcasing a premium product that outshines the linear bearings, whose quality and manufacture are unknown. To complete this modification, you'll need 8 GT2 6M pulleys, timing belts, 5m bolts & tap, 3m insert nuts, and a heat shield for extruder to EXO Slide assembly ( sourced from an aluminum beverage can ). Reusing bolts, bearings, and hardware from the gantry and steppers is recommended. Choosing sides may be challenging, as left and right designations are not clearly defined. I positioned myself at the rear of the machine, pointing it away, with green indicating right, red for left, and yellow in the middle. The side carriers were printed as two separate pieces, secured by axles that hold them together. The corners and carriers require washers to prevent movement; creativity is necessary due to limited space. Don't forget to install a new X switch mount during assembly. This modification has been built and thoroughly tested.
