I originally used flexible conduit for the cable runs, but I soon discovered it was far too much fun to make any modifications, even with some of the cables lacking connectors at their ends. I had cut the extruder cables in two and fashioned a connection board in the rear middle section, allowing me to easily switch between 1.75mm and 3mm extruders. I also benefited from having a stash of spare 1-meter heaters and thermistors. To streamline my cable management system, I opted for 20mm conduit with fittings and two project boxes to run the cables. A 15mm x 30mm cable chain was used to replace the tiny original one on the extruder cables. This new setup has proven to be incredibly easy to use, allowing me to change a cable over in as little as 30 seconds - often with the elbow covers removed. The conduit bracket and clips are designed to sit flat against the edge of the 2020 aluminum profile. However, I found that the half-round cable clip only provides a slight grip on the conduit, so if you tend to brush against it, the round version would be a better choice.
