You will need a 22mm pancake NEMA 17 stepper motor and a standard Bondtech BMG, along with a short Bowden tube, some screws, and nuts. This X-carriage is ideal for Tronxy X5s printers (or other Core-XY machines using 2020V-Slot with wheels). It features easy belt tensioning, eliminating the need for adjustable motor mounts. The cable chain has been moved upwards to accommodate custom parts made specifically for the Tronxy, keeping it free from idlers and belts. This carriage works seamlessly with both standard E3D and Volcano hotends. A M3x20 screw and nut are required for the E3D clamp, while two small screws are needed for mounting the fan bracket (50mm blower). A short M4 screw is necessary for attaching the fan shroud. Additionally, a better-designed fan shroud will be created to fit this bracket and uploaded later. Print with high infill settings of 80-100%. Please note that the cooler bracket has been extruded 5mm more than depicted in the picture to ensure a proper fit. Spacers used are from SgaboLab's Thing #2574935. Special thanks go to KozaMaker for sharing his work and inspiration. 2018-12-30 - Version 5 of the X-carriage front has been added, accommodating the v5-fan shroud with the Prusa nozzle fan. If necessary, lower the E3D cooler by 2mm in the clamp to avoid any interference with bed components. Also, ensure that cables are soldered to the endstop as it's a bit narrow.
