Inductive Sensor Mount for LJ18A3-8-Z/BX: An Upgrade to the Standard Fan Mount 19mm Sensor A modified version of the standard fan mount, provided on the SD card that came with the printer, is presented here. Improvements have been made to the internal workings of the fan duct to eliminate an unnecessary overhang that was causing difficulties in removing supports from the print. The base of the mount has also been redesigned to remove rounding, which can lead to easier lifting of prints from the bed. 18mm diameter sensor with 8mm sensing distance (ferrous) is used. It is designed for use with a standard aluminum bed and 3mm glass on top. However, it will not sense through 4mm glass. The sensor plugs into the Z end stop, with the wiring marked on the board as follows: Blue (-) Brown (+) Black (sense) To activate auto-bed leveling, use the M-code.
