TRONXY X5 (NOT THE X5S) CARRIAGE FOR AN E3D-V6 HOT END. The standard one is such a hassle to keep reliable and an even bigger hassle when it comes to filament change, I use dry type bearings but standard ones work fine also, I have made it pretty compact. You lose maybe a little in printer height but if like me you don't print anything above 220mm it should be just fine. The hotend secures with two m5 nuts (they fit in the slots) then two m5 x 20mm bolts (hex heads as an alan key won't fit). I used 25mm bolts then used a junior hacksaw to cut to length. You'll need to get creative when it comes to your end stops etc, I have changed the board and orientation on my Tronxy x5 so my configuration is slightly different. I printed at .25 layer height but will be printing one at .1 now i know it works perfectly. I hope this helps someone Thanks Adrian. [EDIT] just to add I just used super glue to secure a 40mm fan on the underside for parts cooling, see pictures.
