I decided to take on the challenge of designing my own version of a Z anti-wobble bracket with tensioning, and I'm confident it will eliminate all wobble in Z axis. The main two parts require supports when printed, but they can be printed individually or together - I've included both options in the files. This design allows the Z-axis lead screw to float freely in X and Y axes while maintaining its position on the Z-axis. It also enables the rear wheel to move, which helps tighten it against the 2020 rail, eliminating any slack that may be present. I finally completed this fully printed version with a few minor adjustments, and I'm pleased to say it's now ready for use. After installing this design, I've been putting it through its paces, and it's working flawlessly. In fact, I changed one of the lead screw couplers with a bent-out-of-shape replacement, but the lead screw base still moved 3-4 mm in all directions - however, after printing with this setup, the results were perfect. The photos of the part printed with the defective coupler demonstrate just how effective this design is. I've received feedback that factory bolts may be hitting the mounts on some users' setups, so it's recommended to either flip the bolts around or trim their ends flush with the nut - I've done the latter myself, and it works perfectly. UPDATE: Following the comment about bolt interference, I added a relief cut on top of each main piece under V2, which should resolve this issue. UPDATE: 12/3/17 - After being informed of alignment issues with X motors, I discovered that I use this design without any problems. It's worth considering printing the referenced solution from Thingiverse to address these issues. UPDATE: 12/24/17 - I've finally found some time to update the design and lower the X 2020 rails by 5mm to fix the alignment issues that were brought to my attention.
