Tronxy X3 Spool holder
thingiverse
I had to relocate the printer to a spot where space behind was insufficient for the original spoolholder, so I devised this solution. So far, it functions well, but I haven't tested it extensively, which means I can't guarantee its effectiveness with various spools. It's designed for up to 80mm thick spools, and I primarily use the smaller 750g ones. Let me know if you encounter any issues during printing. Print Settings Printer: Tronxy X3 (R1) Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 40% Notes: Material: Polymaker PolyMax Post-Printing Assembling You'll need an M3x16+ screw and an M3 nut to secure the spoolholder to a frame. Place the nut in the rectangular hole, then tighten the screw until it's firmly attached to a 2020 bosch profile. If you're unsure, refer to the pictures; if not clear, let me know in comments. How I Designed This I used Fusion 360 for design and Blender to adjust the position and rotation for easier printing.
