Tronxy X3 Minimize Y Axis Wobble
thingiverse
With its solitary Y-Axis rail, the Tronxy X3bed is particularly susceptible to wobbling excessively. After a year of usage, it was high time to explore solutions to this issue. I opted to investigate the feasibility of utilizing a stabilizer rod and bearings salvaged from an old printer, rather than waiting for online orders to arrive. The available 350mm-long rod proved sufficient since only that length needed to be clear of obstructions on the bed, which measures 220x 220. A custom-designed bracket made up for the shortcoming in length and was simple to print and assemble. The entire upgrade necessitated drilling just two holes to attach the bearing carriage and required nothing more than removing the heated bed plate.
