FANTASTIC design by kencam is available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2185364. The original concept required re-orienting the Y axis belt and adding extra printing to accommodate this change, but I wanted to keep the 2020 Y section in place, eliminate the rollers, and do the minimum amount of printing necessary to add the 400mm rails. I removed the belt lock from the original design and raised the rod holders so that the bed could sit above the Y axis aluminum. This resulted in a loss of about 10mm of print height, but I don't plan on printing tall vases anytime soon. I also modified the bearing holders because the original design used zip ties to secure the bearings in place, which caused problems when using Igus Drylin bushings as they would bind on the rods. This new design allows the bearings to snap into place with stops at each end to prevent them from sliding out, and it works well for LM8UU bearings too. A picture of the printed piece shows a separate print of the Igus bushing that I included just for testing purposes since all my Igus bushings are in use. UPDATE: After replacing the long screws from the original bed wheels with shorter ones, I discovered that the Y stop endswitch was relying on the wheels as its trigger point. To fix this issue, I designed a new Y motor mount that raises the switch and adds reinforcement to keep it from flexing.
