Tronxy X3 Bed Enlargment

Hi everyone! Hope my instructions are super clear. Any tips would really help me out. Enjoy! This Tronxy X3 modification makes it possible to install a larger heatbed, up to approximately 330x330 mm (same size as the X3S). NOTE: The custom parts are still in development, so be sure to check back here for the updated versions. X/Z AXIS: The mod involves moving the Z-motors outside of the 2020 uprights. This means that the x-axis needs to be extended to allow the x-motor to sit further left (Using the custom x-motor mount in the files section). The lead-screws will now need support since they sit outside the frame. I have designed a simple holder that can take a standard bearing to align the top of the lead-screws. (Lead-screw support left and right in the files section). The extruder can now be easily mounted on the right z-carriage. (See photos for better understanding.) The 'x-tensioner' component (not shown in pictures) has been customized fully to fit between the right end of the x-axis and the extruder motor. However, the tensioning functionality has been removed as space was tight and retensioning is only needed from time to time. (Part found in files section). Y-AXIS: The y-axis is still a work in progress. In its current state, there is only enough y-travel to use approximately 70% of the bed (I aim to use the full 330x330mm bed). The motor may need to be re-oriented as well as some extended 2020 extrusions. I will keep updating as I go. FURTHER NOTES: -Any other printed parts you see in the attached photos that I didn't mention (Z-motor mounts, z-carriages, 2020 braces etc) were found here on thingiverse uploaded by various talented X3 owners. -Bigger PSU is needed to satisfactorily heat a bigger bed. -Mosfet is needed to accommodate PSU for safety. -Longer belts may be needed depending.
