Tronxy X1 X and Y idlers - dual sided

Tronxy X1 X and Y idlers - dual sided

thingiverse

Remixed idlers taken from Fysfys's original design. This version allows idler mounts to sit on both sides of the extrusion, preventing inwards bending that causes belt friction. I remixed the design after discovering it was starting to warp inwardly, making the belts rub against each other. To assemble this remix, you'll need to print three straight idlers and one 90-degree idler. This configuration enables a smooth fit on the Y axis without interfering with the wheel. These idlers are designed to incorporate spacers, eliminating the need for additional nuts or inserts. They're intended to accommodate toothed bearings as an upgrade, but will also accept standard bearings. To complete this remix, you'll require a longer bolt than originally specified – 35mm with a locknut should suffice.
