TronXY X1 Adaptable Spool Holder

TronXY X1 Adaptable Spool Holder

This is a versatile spool holder designed to fit seamlessly on the build plate of the TronXY X1. It locks into place by first inserting the spool post upright so that it slides smoothly into the main body, and then rotating it 180 degrees to secure it firmly in position. The prototype shown in the picture is my adaptation, created to identify areas for improvement in the model, resulting in a final product that locks in at nearly a 90-degree angle to the body. The primary goal of this design is to create an easy-to-print spool holder that requires no adjustments and can be easily updated to accommodate different spools or bodies, eliminating the need for a complete reprint. The holder utilizes the two short M5 bolts typically used for attaching handles, thereby avoiding any additional hardware requirements. This print marks my first functional upload in some time, and I feel I have significantly improved my modeling skills. I would appreciate seeing your prints using the "made it" option and receiving constructive feedback. However, please keep in mind that I am only 15 years old. Edit: Following updates ensured a nearly perfect fit, allowing for easy removal of the spool without disassembling the holder. Holder Post V8 is now live, featuring a slimmed-down key to address cracking issues encountered during rotation. Edit: After receiving reports of fitting issues on one instance, I recommend printing the post at 99% scale if you experience similar problems. This has resolved the issue in most cases, but please comment and provide pictures if the model does not work correctly. Thank you for your views and downloads; keep creating!
