I built this custom fan because my original one stopped working due to a faulty power supply, so I needed something with more airflow. The old cover was also a solid metal box that didn't allow for any air to pass through. Fortunately, this new design worked out great for me and I'm hoping it will do the same for you. The design has been updated to ensure the holes line up perfectly, making it easier to assemble. I've added text labels to the body of the fan to indicate power and wire locations, which should make installation a breeze. This way, you can easily find the correct wires and connections. The lower half of the fan is now complete, giving you the option to add a power plug or keep it stock. The switch and plug are actually from an old computer power supply case, so they're reliable and efficient.
