You can repair warped x axis carriages for the lead screw attachment by creating 3mm washers with an outside diameter of 4mm, inside 3mm and 0.2mm high through a quick print job. A small amount of PLA material is required to produce around 100 washers in less than a meter of filament, which takes just one minute to complete. Once you have your new washers, simply insert them between the screws that hold the lead screw guide/nut to the carriages. You'll know it's right when the rod falls through the nut under gravity or with a gentle tap and is parallel to the guide rail. The adjustment process may take about an hour due to its fiddly nature, but it will work perfectly. A razor blade and toothpick can be used to help align the washers during this process. This repair method uses less material than printing an entirely new carriage and is faster to complete. In fact, you'll even have time to epoxy the nut into place once you've finished adjusting the carriages. The code for creating these custom washers is included in the scad file for your convenience.
