Mounting Bracket for LJC18A3-B-Z/BX Sensor Designed Specifically for Tronxy P802e Hotend Bracket from Aliexpress Update I've Got My Probe Working with Repetier Firmware, and I Thought I'd Share Some Notes Since There's Little Information Online. LJC18A3-B-Z/BX Sensor Wiring The Brown wire is the positive (+), Blue Wire is Negative (-) and Black wire is Signal. If Using a Melzi Board (Like Mine), I Connect Brown to 12V PSU +, Blue to PSU - and Black Signal to Z Min Endstop Signal. Repetier Firmware I Use Repetier Firmware; Please Don't Ask About Marlin as I'm Not Familiar with It. To Make Changes, Use the Online Tool at https://www.repetier.com/firmware/v092/. Always Set ALWAYS_CHECK_ENDSTOPS to False in the Mechanics Tab. On the Features Tab, Enable Z-Probing and Select Your Preferred Auto Bed Leveling Method; I Use n*n Grid with 4 Probe Points (16 points). Leave Other Settings as Default Since You Can Adjust Probe Height, Offsets and Points in EEPROM. My Probe Triggers When the Nozzle is About 2mm Above the Print Bed, So I Set My Probe Height to 2mm. To Get Z Probe Value with a Z Min Endstop, Move the Nozzle so it's Just Touching the Print Bed (Manual Calibration). Slowly Move the Nozzle so that the Sensor is Over the Bed While Still Touching it. Then Move Z Up 10mm and Send a G30 Command to Your Printer. This Will Return the Value Z Moved Down When the Probe Was Triggered; For Example, 8.23mm. Subtract That from 10mm for Clearance (1.77mm in My Case). To Be Safe, Set Your Z Probe Height in EEPROM as 1.75 for 0.02mm Clearance. My Start G-Code Looks Like This: G28 X0 Y0 ; Home X and Y G1 Z10 F{Z_TRAVEL_SPEED} ; Move Z Up 10mm G1 X150 Y150 F{TRAVEL_SPEED} ; Move to Print Bed Centre G28 Z0 ; Home Z (Triggering the Probe Will Move it Down Past the Trigger Point, 2mm Above) G1 Z10 F{Z_TRAVEL_SPEED} ; Move Z Up 10mm G32 S2 ; Perform Auto Levelling Calibration G32 S2 Stores Calibration Results in EEPROM; If Nothing Changes, You Don't Need to Calibrate Every Time.
