A superior filament spool core hub spindle designed to fit perfectly into standard Tronxy acrylic spool holder stands. A significant improvement over the inadequately trimmed white water pipe supplied by Tronxy, which causes the filament spool to wobble randomly on its stand. Spool centre holes vary in diameter, so ensure that this spindle will accommodate your specific spools before printing it. To prevent the spindle from falling over during printing, remember to enable supports in your slicer software. A helpful tip: by attaching my spool stand to the top bar of the printer's 2020 frame with several sturdy nylon cable ties, I was able to reduce the required table space footprint and make moving the printer with a loaded spool much easier. This idea originated from observing others' pictures on Thingiverse. Update: With my Tronxy spool stand securely attached to the top of the frame, I was inspired to design a more professional-looking top bar mount system to complement these existing spool hubs.... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3269895 UPDATE January 2019: I recently received new filament supplies, and 3 of them had smaller centre holes, which is frustrating because they don't standardize these things! To accommodate this issue, I uploaded a 52mm diameter version of the hub, identical to the original 57mm one. Please use whichever size suits your spools best.
