A remake of the iconic visualizer tailored for two-layer printing with transparent plastic as the base layer. This enables elements to seem suspended in mid-air, mirroring the cinematic effect. Although not an exact replica, the background subtly adopts the hue of whatever lies beneath it, thereby amplifying the floating illusion. I also enlarged it slightly. Attached are the STL file, 123D design files, and a G-code file (including filament change prompts at the optimal height). The G-code is optimized for a Prusa i3 mk2 printer. The print was done with a 0.2 layer thickness and a 0.4mm nozzle diameter. A smaller layer height or a narrower nozzle will further refine the details.
