I have built a custom Bowden support for my Solidoodle printer that incorporates a cooling system within it. To fabricate all the components, I utilized ABS material and then bonded them together using acetone, as it yields better results. The arm section features two drilled holes, allowing for carbon fiber reinforcements to be inserted in order to enhance structural connectivity. Once these additions are in place, the bowden tube can be threaded through or alternatively, one could opt to design their own tubing configuration. Throughout the system, a crystal pipe serves as a conduit for my fan's airflow. Everything works in perfect harmony, delivering remarkably satisfactory results and giving my prints an incredibly lightweight appearance. Additionally, all cooling components have vanished from my printing part entirely, resulting in significantly reduced visual obstructions.
