TRON Arcade Cabinet PC Board Supports
thingiverse
I've been meticulously reconstructing a 1982 TRON upright arcade game, and the process revealed several crucial components were missing. These custom supports for the logic board stack are designed to elevate the boards significantly off the cabinet's bottom surface. The slots on the support's surface ensure a snug fit for the PC board. These modified supports aim to prevent potential damage to the boards if the leveling legs are tightened too firmly, which is a common risk with standard factory-made supports. Although created for upright cabinets, these custom supports could also be used in cabaret or cocktail cabinets with minimal adjustments. Print Settings: Printer: XYZ Printing DaVinci 2.0 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 100% Notes: The solid infill might seem excessive, but I prioritized rigidity due to the substantial weight of the board stack. The lower bracket's cross bracing doesn't extend to the bottom for easy cleaning without disassembling the entire setup. The upper bracket's securing tabs are slotted for effortless installation and removal of the logic board stack by simply loosening the screws.
