Trombone Stand
thingiverse
I was searching for an affordable trombone stand my son could use at school without having to carry his around all the time. We opted for a wooden dowel, 20mm in diameter, as the stem and legs. To make this stand, you'll need: * 3x lower caps * 1x upper cap * 1x bell rest (V01 from the source or V03, which we copied from our K+M stand) - choose whichever suits your preference * 1x wedge to secure the bell holder * 1x joint The measurements are approximately 30cm for the feet and 70cm for the entire stand. Keep in mind that the holes for the legs might be a bit tight due to the slight droop at the top. I tried using a 20mm drill bit, but it ended up splitting one of the connectors, so I recommend sanding down that area instead of attempting to drill through it. It's also a good idea to print one of the endcaps first to ensure a proper fit with your chosen material.
