Trolley Key

Just a simple gadget for the busy shopper. A trolley token with an easy grip makes it effortless to remove when finished. It can be fitted to a keyring so it's always at your fingertips. I've included the plain 123d file, allowing anyone to customize their print - not everyone will appreciate the word "moose" on their trolley key! Print Settings Printer: XYZ Davinci 1.0A Rafts: No rafts are necessary. Supports: Supports are also unnecessary. Resolution: A resolution of 0.2 is ideal for this design. Infill: An infill percentage of 30% provides the perfect balance between strength and lightness. Notes: This gadget was printed in PLA using the honeycomb infill option. I used a unique combination of shapes to create this token, including one circle, one isosceles triangle, and one half circle. A trip to the British Mint website provided the accurate measurements for a one-pound coin. To achieve the correct thickness, I extruded the drawn shapes to 3.15 mm and centered them lengthwise before moving them until they overlapped and looked just right. Next, I created a 3mm radius octagon and centered it close to the grip end for the keyring hole, then added raised text for a professional finish. And that's how this simple gadget came together!
