Trojan Horse

The Trojan Horse model is a decorative print that showcases an open internal storage compartment accessible through a hatch on its underside, perfect for concealing small items such as money, jewelry, keys, and more. This design makes it ideal to use personally or as a unique gift, and it looks great in any color. The tail/hatch print consists of two parts (although an STL file including both parts in one print is also available). The horse part is a print-in-place design that, with a good slicing app and accurate machine, will produce a model with freely rotating wheels. Note: As different slicing apps/machines may produce varying results, the standard tail hatch (tail.STL) might print slightly loose for some users. If you are confident in your slicing app and machine's precision and accuracy to the design, you can use the tail_notch.STL instead. The only difference is a small hump halfway along the sliding part, which will make it slightly tighter to insert/harder to remove. This may cause it to be too tight for some users... if that happens, you can file the notch down a fraction. At standard scale, the Trojan Horse (with the tail/hatch installed) measures 136mm x 105mm x 32.5mm. Large areas inside the Trojan Horse have been left empty to reduce print time and filament usage. The hatch measures approximately 24mm x 14mm, and the internal cavity is 68mm x 25mm x 25mm... providing plenty of space to hide away many small/precious things. This design allows for easy printing, but DO NOT USE SUPPORT as this could result in the wheels not turning freely and the internal storage area being filled. Machines with good bridging capability should produce good results. Please refer to the instructions provided and images for additional information.
